The Premier Graduate Clinician Program

At Dynamic Therapy, we provide exemplary training to students in the prevention, identification, and remediation of communication disorders. We take pride in offering graduate clinical experiences for students that are working towards obtaining the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the Council for Clinical Certification (CFCC) of the American Speech-Language Association (ASHA) as well as state license and/or state teaching certification. We understand that students working to become certified speech-language pathologists (SLPs) must be supervised in a variety of settings and have experience with students/clients across the age span who present with a variety of communication disorders.

At Dynamic Therapy, our supervision not only includes direct observation, guidance, and feedback to permit the student to monitor, evaluate, improve performance, and develop clinical competence but we specialize in training clinicians in evidence-based practice.

Confidentiality Standards: All patient information is to be treated as confidential, including the fact that the patient receives (or previously received) services through this company. The privacy and confidentiality of our patients are protected under state laws and regulations and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. No patient information may be disclosed without the explicit informed consent of the patient and authorization by his/her clinician.

• Discussing/revealing patient information to anyone outside of Dynamic Therapy (e.g., friends, family, fellow students, supervisees, etc.).
• Removing any patient information from this company for any purpose without explicit authorization from the patient’s clinician in each case.
• Discussing/revealing patient information to another staff member who has no legitimate need to know.
• Obtaining access to patient information that is not directly necessary for performing your duties.
• Sending any patient information via e-mail or FAX without explicit authorization from the clinician.
• Copying patient files or other patient information onto CD, floppy disk, or another electronic medium, without explicit authorization from the patient’s clinician for a specific purpose.
• Placing patient information on the internet or into any other publicly available forum without consent.
